Typewriter Found

  1. Heh, hobbies do get distracting, indeed! Good to see you've re-found that sweet machine! (:

also, memory loss can lead to all kinds of fun surprises. I lost a Remmie Model 1 (noisy noiseless) for years and even forgot I had it until I had the great surprise of just finding it buried in a closet. :D

  2. The music's probably in typewriter-land! Glad you found this one.

  3. Glad you found your typewriter. I tag mine too as I add them to my collection.

I've only ever lost the ones I did not tag and left in my 'to-be-repaired' pile in my shop or someplace in my Fibber McGee's closet kind of garage.

  4. Happy that you found it. I have several that I'm looking for and that are probably sitting somewhere in my piles.

  5. Good news! Guess that old saying about lost stuff is true, huh? that it usually appears in the least expected places when you are least looking for it. I agree with Will, the guitar music will probably be somewhere around the typewriters.

    Good to see you back!

  6. Hah! I have that same experience, only it is with tools, they move mysteriously when I put them down and then take my eyes of them for a few seconds, terribly vexing.

  7. also, it looks like it has some issues with the ribbon, perhaps not fitted correctly in the vibrator or more likely, the overthrow stop for the Black position is way out.
